Northumbria University and St. George’s University (SGU) have renewed their collaboration for another decade, with a focus on providing exceptional medical education to students worldwide. The partnership now offers multiple entry points and study routes to qualify for the Medical Degree program. Students with High School qualifications can achieve the Medical Degree through additional study, and they have the option to pursue a dual degree, earning both a Doctor of Medicine Degree from SGU and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Sciences from Northumbria. This renewed commitment aims to deliver a comprehensive and globally recognized medical education, preparing future doctors for successful careers in medicine.

The new agreement provides the platform for the next 10 years of our relationship and reflects the commitment of both universities to deliver an education that is truly global in nature and provides future doctors with a comprehensive education that prepares them for successful careers in medicine,” said Dr. Richard Liebowitz, Vice Chancellor of St. George’s University.
St. George’s University is a renowned center of international education, attracting students and faculty from 140 countries to its programs in medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, science, and business on the island of Grenada. The university is affiliated with esteemed educational institutions worldwide, and its graduates have excelled in various fields globally. The School of Medicine at SGU is accredited by the Grenada Medical and Dental Council, recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
Furthermore, Grenada offers a citizenship by investment program, allowing investors to obtain citizenship by contributing significantly to the country’s economy. Investors can choose between making a non-refundable donation to a government fund or investing in an approved real estate project in the tourism sector.
